Issued by QRO on 10/09/2025 and valid until 09/09/2028, with the scope “Manufacturing and production of cement block, volcanic block and curbstones.”
Established in the Makkah Region to serve the Saudi construction market, the factory supplies top-quality concrete building products, including some of the most advanced, precise and durable cement and volcanic blocks available. They are used by major contractors, and their quality is backed by laboratory certificates and letters of appreciation from major projects and companies.
Mubarak Salih Factory Company for Industry — a single-person company — is an industrial facility on Al-Khawajat Road in Makkah, operating under an industrial license from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources first issued in 2004 and valid until 2027.
The company produces solid and hollow cement concrete block, volcanic block, polystyrene-slab insulated block, cement curbstones and automatic bricks — under a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015, with 49.66% local content certified by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA).
An approved operating sequence under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, with inspection and acceptance controls and documented records at every stage.
Cement, aggregate, sand and gravel from approved suppliers, checked for quantity, condition and conformity.
Sand and gravel are washed with water and cleaned before storage to control the cleanliness and quality of the mix.
Each material is stored in its designated area to prevent contamination or unintended mixing.
Automated feeding of cement and aggregate, mixed in controlled proportions and electronically monitored in every batch.
The product is formed by compaction and pressing to the required size under controlled conditions.
Water spraying for at least 24 hours, followed by 48 more hours of sun exposure, as the product requires.
Products are stacked on pallets and strapped where needed to protect them from breakage.
Once curing is complete, products are moved to designated storage areas within the factory yards.
Visual and dimensional inspection, plus breaking and compression tests by accredited external laboratories before release.
Loading, transport and on-site delivery by the factory’s fleet once the product has been verified and accepted.
Valid operating licenses and complete statutory records, with the approval file sent alongside the quote — so supplier approval clears with the consultant the first time.
Each certificate is listed with its issuing body and validity date; full copies are attached to the supplier approval file on request.

Dimensions in centimeters, weight per piece, and compressive strength in MPa.
The difference between concrete and volcanic block isn’t just price — it’s insulation, weight and ease of installation. Here are the properties of each type, in numbers.
Made from a uniform mix of sand, aggregate and cement, with two or more cavities. Used in construction and in supporting, load-bearing and non-load-bearing wall structures.
Polystyrene is integrated symmetrically into the block during production — placed while wet or dry — giving excellent, consistent thermal insulation. The technique is widely used in Europe and Saudi Arabia, and municipalities and the electricity company require it for exterior walls.
Strong, dense and high quality, it withstands all kinds of weather, giving it a long service life.
The highest compressive strength: 8 to 14 MPa for hollow block and 14 to 18 MPa for solid block, produced with automatic pressing — for load-bearing walls and structural elements.
Its rough surface grips plaster well, so it bonds firmly without needing a heavy spatter coat.
A low thermal conductivity of 0.125 W/m·K provides high thermal insulation and reduces heat transfer from outside the building to the inside, and vice versa.
High load-bearing strength thanks to automatic pressing in the production process.
Air voids reduce the weight, so a single block weighs about the same as an equivalent red brick.
Helps absorb sound waves to reduce echo, with noise reduction of 3 – 6 dB.
Needs only a light spatter coat, as its rough surface makes plaster bond strongly and quickly.
Helps limit the spread of fire.
Values measured on samples of the factory’s production in accredited laboratories; the reports are sent with the quote on request.
Copies of official documents and full laboratory reports are sent with the supplier approval file on request.
