The ASTM C129 minimum for non-load-bearing units: 4.14 MPa average and 3.45 MPa individual. The limit in the solid-block report template under ASTM C90: 13.1 MPa average and 11.7 MPa individual, on net area.
If your project requires a specific fire-resistance duration, choose the type and insulation that achieve it. Ratings are calculated using the NCMA TEK method based on equivalent thickness and issued for specific samples; type, size and insulation are verified to match before approval.
Thermal conductivity, noise reduction and density for each type. The thermal performance of the wall itself is calculated by the designer for the complete wall — block, plaster and finish. If your project requires a specific value, state it in your quote request so a report can be issued for it.
